Bridge to Nowhere is the fourty-seventh video in the TribeTwelve series.
Here is the rest of the footage I took on December 24th, part 2 of 2. Nothing makes sense anymore, but then again, did it ever?
[Video starts on Noah's iPhone screen, showing the date and time to be 9:22 on Sunday, September 29.]
Noah: [breathing heavily] Wh... What the f*ck, this is wrong. It's December! It's December.
[Noah begins walking.]
Noah: What the f*ck is going on here?
[Cut to Noah walking along a pavement. He sees a car with its interior light on a passenger in it and runs to it. The passenger appears to be Lee from WhisperedFaith.]
Noah: Sir? Sir? [He knocks on the window and the driver winds it down.] Sir? Excuse me, sir!
Driver(Lee): Yeah—yeah, can I help you?
Noah: Sorry to bother you, um... Where am I?
Driver(Lee): You don't know where you are?
Noah: No, heh, I don't know where I am. Where is this place?
Driver(Lee): Piscataway. [Pause.] New Jersey...?
Noah: Oh my God.
Driver(Lee): You alright, dude?
Noah: Uh, yeah, yeah, I just... I'm sorry, I'm a bit, uh... a bit confused. I uh, um, I have this mental disorder where I forget things and, um... uh, thank you, thank you sir.
[Noah turns and jogs away from the car.]
Noah: Oh, my god. [He chuckles, still jogging.] I'm in New Jersey! [He laughs.] I'm in New Jersey! [More laughter.] I wasn't gonna come myself so he f*ckin' took me. [In an oddly echoed voice:] 'Least I don't gotta pump my own f*ckin' gas!
[Cut to the parking lot of a gas station. Note: It is speculated that the individual standing out front is Chris from Dark Harvest. Noah enters the store and goes into the men's room. He turns and is confronted with the open air of outside, and as he turns back around, it seems that he's in a small dilapidated brick building. He backs out of the building onto a sidewalk.]
Noah: What the f*ck? [He pans around.] Where am I? [He runs down the sidewalk.] Where the f*ck am I? Holy shit!
[Noah's message tone sounds and it cuts to his phone screen, which reveals it is 11:11 p.m. A message from a jumbled number reads simply, "find the bridge". Noah begins walking down the sidewalk again. His message tone sounds again, and it cuts to show two new messages within the same minute: "before they do" and "~ F". Noah walks on.]
Noah: Alright. Alright! Whatever you say.
[He comes to a black door and pans side to side as though paranoid. He knocks on the door.]
Noah: Is anybody there? [He tries the handle and knocks again, faster.] Anybody!
[Cut to Noah walking around again.]
Noah: This place. There's something about it. It just... It just doesn't feel right. Feels...doesn't feel natural.
[Cut to what appears to be a laundry (?) Intense music is playing. Cut to back outside.]
Noah: This place is f*cking weird. [He mutters something (?).]
[Cut. Noah zooms in on a bridge. Cut again: camera on Noah's feet. Noah is walking very quickly.]
Noah: He's following me. [He pans quickly behind him.] He's following me!
[Cut to Noah in the same building as the laundry (?). He sees a drinking fountain and runs over to it to drink. As he bends and points the camera behind him, a figure—presumably HABIT—quickly peeks around the corner behind him. Noah stops drinking water and coughs blood into the sink. Noah pans around to show that he has a nosebleed. He washes the blood off his fingers, still coughing and wheezing.
Cut. Outside, Noah zooms in on a window of a building, and back out again.
Cut. Inside again, Noah sees a staircase and begins to climb it. He reaches the top and turns, and instead of a landing and door, is faced with a street outside.]
Noah: What the f*ck? [Breathing heavily, he climbs to the next level, is faced with the same street, and laughs.] No. [He runs to the next level and it happens again.] Aah!
[Cut to Noah's feet as he sits down on the stairs, apparently sobbing. The footage intersects with and cuts to footage of bugs crawling in a line on the landing of the staircase.]
Noah: I can document it.... I can document it...
[Back to Noah sitting on the stairs; it is looped footage of him rocking the camera back and forth and maniacally tapping his finger on his knee.]
Noah: Document it. [He mutters something else twice (?). It cuts to him panning around while inside.]
Noah: I'm going around in circles!
[Cut to Noah walking beside a playground, filming through the bars around it. As Noah pans past them, HABIT briefly appears between two bars; he unfolds his arms and begins to open his mouth, then disappears. Noah jumps back, startled, then pans around to see HABIT behind him. He runs. Video cuts to Noah walking down a street.]
Noah: [walking] I gotta find my way. Gotta keep recording. Gotta keep recording. [Whispering] Keep it together. Keep it together. Keep it together. Keep it together. Keep it together.
[Cut to Noah zoomed in on a bridge at the far side of a parking lot.]
Noah: Is that it? That's it. [He runs towards it.] That's gotta be it.
[Noah walking down a paved path.]
Noah: Just a crazy, f*cked up dream. Gonna wake up any second. It's how it always is, right? Your mind's a sh*thole-
[Cut to the bridge. Noah is panting and pans either side of the bridge before he steps on it. The bridge exit at the other end is dark. He looks over the side of the bridge.]
Noah: F*ckin' hate New Jersey.
Jeff: Noah! Noah. [Noah pans around behind him to reveal Jeff from EverymanHyBRID. He appears very uneasy and hurried, and frequently glances around.]
Jeff: You can not listen to what any of them try to tell you.
[Jeff glances behind himself.]
Jeff: I know this doesn't make sense, I know this must be very confusing, but... you're not gonna win this.
Noah: You're dead!
Jeff: I know this doesn't make sense— [He looks behind himself again.]
Noah: What the f*ck, Jeff?
Jeff: You've gotta kill yourself.
Jeff: You can't be— you're not gonna be the hero of this.
Noah: You're not making any sense—
Jeff: If you wanna help anybody, that's all you can do. You gotta kill yourself. It's... it's just the only solution—
Noah: I... I don't understand—
Jeff: And just stop filming this shit, and... kill yourself. Alright, I know things are confusing right now, man, but you gotta listen. You can't listen to them, alright? Trust me.
Noah: What the f*ck, Jeff?
[Jeff seems to see something in the distance to his right, behind Noah. He begins to edge away, then runs away past Noah, off the far end off the bridge.]
Jeff: [while running] Just don't listen to them!
[He lowers the camera so it points behind him to reveal HABIT sitting, relaxed, at the start of the bridge. Behind HABIT, the entrance of the bridge seems to reveal parkland in daylight. HABIT slowly gets up and walks towards Noah with open arms.]
Noah: [mutters] How are you alive? [whispers (?)]
HABIT: Noah. [Noah swings the camera around.]
Noah: No. No.
HABIT: What are you doing here, huh?
Noah: F*ck this. [He starts to run towards the other end of the bridge.] No. No!
HABIT: [distant] Where you goin'?
[He reaches the end of the bridge and swings the camera around, to see HABIT standing, posed proudly, right behind him. He pans down to show that HABIT has him by the arm.]
HABIT: Really? [Noah struggles] Come 'ere! [HABIT leads Noah back to the middle of the bridge by the arm.] Yeah, let's run from him in his own house.
Noah: Get the f*ck away from me.
[HABIT sits down on a chair against the railing and puts Noah next to him. HABIT sighs.]
HABIT: Noah. [He looks around as if looking for someone. Speaking in his demonic "true voice"] I don't remember letting you in. How did you get here?
Noah: I don't know... I just... found myself here. I don't know where I am. [HABIT chuckles.] I don't know where this place is.
HABIT: [smirking] Just a bug caught in a web, huh? Just a beetle in a dryer. [In a silly voice] "What's going on? It's so hot! Up is down, down is up. I'm so confused." [He laughs, then, deadpan] So. What'd you think of him?
Noah: He's s'posed to... s'posed to be dead. I saw you murder him.
HABIT: [looking around] Yeah, yeah, well, things are a little bit... different... here... [He clears his throat] So, what he said to you, 'bout all that [he makes a throat-cutting gesture] dirty business. Killing yourself. What do you think?
Noah: I...I don't know what to believe at this point.
HABIT [angry, demonic]: Don't know what to believe?!
[HABIT jumps up and grabs Noah by the front of his shirt. Noah holds the camera at arm's length so both are in frame.]
HABIT: So what, you're just gonna kill yourself? Is that the option that you have, is that a legitimate choice? That shit isn't even on the f*ckin' register, do you understand me? [pause] No, you won't do it. I can smell it on you. You know why? Bec—
[Noah looks down at the camera and HABIT sees it.]
HABIT: Are you filmin'?
Noah: I don't wanna forget... [HABIT laughs and releases Noah, straightening up.]
HABIT [less demonic]: Let's compose ourselves! For God's sakes, man, we're on camera! We have to look good, we have to look proper. [HABIT adjusts his hat.] Noah, you only really got one choice, and that is to fight; and that is to trust me. Hell, I may not be the greatest guy, but I'm not asking you to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger, am I?
Noah: How the f*ck can I trust you anyway?
[HABIT grabs Noah again.]
HABIT [demonic]: Listen, Mister Fighter. [He smiles] You can't. You can only trust yourself. See? That's why I'm not doing it for you. Did I ask you to give anything to me? Am I holding a gun? No. I gave things to you. You said it yourself, man: I mean, it's only a matter of time till you're dead. Might as well fight while you can, right? [He puts Noah down.]
HABIT: Noah, you're gonna fight. Because I told you to fight. Look at you, you're shaking. [He chuckles] You don't have the cahones to kill yourself. Just—
[Noah spits in HABIT's eye.]
Noah: F*ck you! F*ck you and all you stand for, you cocksucker!
HABIT: It's always the "F*ck you". Always the "f*ck you"! What does it even mean? Where are you but here? What's changed because of that?
Noah: I feel better. I derive pleasure from that. [HABIT chuckles.] F*ck you!
HABIT: [nodding] A reprieve. From a stagnant, unchanging sorrow and pain. [Less demonic] I can understand that. But I can't respect it. Noah, I want you to look at me and I want you to tell me that you're going to do what I asked you to.
Noah: No. F*ck. You.
HABIT: You're lying. You're gonna find that journal. You're gonna draw that symbol on what you need to do it on. Not because I asked you to,—no. Because you want to. See? I'm in it for your benefit. Now, you're gonna go do what I asked—sorry, do what you wanna do, of course. And I'm gonna go back to hunting down that little rascal [points where Jeff ran] and a couple of others. So, what are we gonna do, Noah? Are we gonna fight, or are we gonna die screaming?
Noah: I just wanna go home.
HABIT: Go home? I can do that.
[HABIT kicks Noah, who falls back, coughing, into the bedroom of his own house.]
HABIT: Later, bitch. [HABIT preforms an air jerk.]
[HABIT shuts the door through which he kicked Noah and the distortion ceases.]
Noah [lying still, whispers]: Seriously?
[Noah gets up and opens the same door, to reveal his bathroom.]
Noah: Oh... [he chuckles] Oh, my God.
[Noah lethargically walks to his bed and collapses onto it.]
- The first slowed-down, reversed song in this video seems to be I Only Have Eyes For You, by The Flamingos.
- After entering the men's bathroom of a convenience store, Noah is transported to what we assume is an alternate dimension—the "Candleverse". (It seems to be HABIT'S domain, alluded to by his statements: "Yeah, let's run from him in his own house", and "I don't remember letting you in.")
- There is a very ominous sound present in the Candleverse, as well as video noise and extreme color/contrast distortion.
- When entering a certain room, the distortion increases even more, to the point where it is somewhat impossible to see the contents of the room for more than a second at a time
- It seems that water causes harm to humans in the Candleverse, since Noah begins coughing and having a nosebleed when he tries to drink from a water fountain.
- When Noah enters the alternate dimension, HABIT begins to follow him. The distortion caused by HABIT (purple noise/replacing shadows/dark areas with purple) seems much stronger in this dimension, most evident near the end of the video.
- In this dimension, HABIT's voice is distinctively more demonic—at times, only his "true voice" can be heard.
- He apparently has an aversion to using it on camera; when he sees the camera, he immediately tries to sound more like Evan.
- At around 6:16, Noah is seen recording bugs on the floor in the area with the looping staircase. Reversed and slowed down audio, much like the ones used in Collective videos, can be heard during this time.
- After spending an unknown amount of time at the looping stairs, Noah seems to temporarily lose his sanity, repeating the same phrase over and over, rocking back and forth, and tapping his knee in a very twitchy manner.
- The scenes where Noah is running away from HABIT on the bridge, and when HABIT puts his smiling face in front of the camera when asking "How did you get here?" are the exact same hidden images seen in Obituary.
- It appears that HABIT sent Noah back in time to Sunday, September 29th, where events happened while Past Noah wasn't recording (and was nowhere near New Jersey) which explains things seen on other channels. An example is that during an entry of WhisperedFaith, Lee mentions that he met a guy who had no idea where he was while he was picking up some supplies. This footage was recorded sometime in October, indicating that Noah traveled back in time to before the video was uploaded, met Lee, and then gets sent to the Candleverse shortly after.
- Lee of WhisperedFaith and Chris from DarkHarvest00 both make cameos in this video.
- Jeff might be trying to prevent Noah from killing Slenderman because Slenderman is the only one keeping HABIT (somewhat) in check. If HABIT were allowed free reign, the souls of the "players" he murdered (Jeff, Steph, Alex) would never be able to move on.
