So, in Mansion, when you die, the player dies in real life, as indicated by the flatline. Does this mean that the player died due to something unrelated, like a heart attack, or if he/she died because of Slender Man?

Well the thing is no one knows what he does to them. Except for the proxies.
And I think its better to leave it a mystery to keep Slendy scary
Well said, Thartea.
That's what makes death fearsome, not knowing how it will happen to us.
That and our incapabillity to process the state of being dead, as we cannot imagine non-existence, as well as a number of survival instincts that we developed by accident, only to discover that they kept us, well, alive.
I would argue that non-existence is itself non-existent because every concept we have about it is already based on our experiences of existing :)
That doesn't make sense. All our experiences about death are based on our experiences in life, yet death exists.
Also, if non-existence didn't exist, that would be a case of non-existence of non-existence, which would be impossible since non-existence would be impossible.

I second this, just because we can't comprehend it properly or truly know what it is, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist or that we can't label it.
