Hi, all!
SlenderDev here. I'm proud to reveal some new screenshots from The Chaser for your viewing pleasure!
The Chaser is an unofficial spin-off to Slender: The Arrival that aims to focus on Lauren and Kate's childhood. The main setting is Sloane Middle School, an abandoned educational institution where Lauren and Kate first met as kids.
The game is scheduled to be released October 10th, 2020 on GameJolt.
The story at the moment is meant to take place after the Slenderman craze of the early 2010s died out. The reality it takes place in uses a system similar to the Tulpa Effect Theory, where belief=power, and after the craze died, Slenderman presumably vanished. In his place, a boy by the name of Erwin Bravo claims to be harboring the dormant form of Slenderman, now using a human vessel to conserve his power instead of maintaining a fully-fleged physical appearance.
I mainly want the story to focus on the proxies now serving Erwin Bravo, as now that the Slenderman's powers are significantly limited, he needs more lackeys to get work done. This need for a larger team of minions results in an organization operating out of a cluster of forests in Nebraska called the Children's Covert, who are slowly growing their numbers and building local belief in the Slenderman.
Any ways that I can expand upon this idea, or fine-tune it to work out any flaws? Feedback of any kind would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
February 6, 2012: Four children disappear under strange circumstances during the night of February 5-6, a search is launched.
May 15, 2012: The decomposing bodies of three of the children have been found. No trace of the fourth, he too is presumed dead.
August 11, 2012: Three more children also disappeared. A search is again launched.
September 2, 2012: The feds start interfering
October 15, 2012: The bodies of the three children are found at the edge of a lake in the middle of the forest. The wounds look strange, the children seem to have fought among themselves.
October 17, 2012: To be sure and to avoid new kidnappings, the government, which has also interfered in the case, announces that all residents will have to leave the city tomorrow morning at the latest.
October 18, 2012: The last remaining children in the city are all missing. Among them was my son, Ethan. A new search is launched.
December 14, 2012: The search is called off. The children are presumed dead.
January 16, 2013: I found a strange article about a creature kidnapping the children and taking them to the forest. A bit far-fetched, but it was my only lead.
January 17, 2013: I arrived in front of the forest.
It's a little bit inspired by Blair Witch, but the rendering will be quite different. What do you think of it? I remind you that it's being written, a lot of things can change, what you read above is a little prologue, to get you in the mood.
Please feel free to submit any ideas you might have in regards to improving, enhancing or expanding Slender: The Arrival here. I'm all ears! And, if you're lucky enough, your idea may be included in the game!
Don't miss the beta for Slender: The Arrival - Remastered, available on PC starting June 10th, 2019!
I just watched the new movie Slender Man. And Ik this may sound stupid, but I don't feel right. I feel a sickness, my stomach is tightening and im a little bit nauseous. I have bad anxiety in general, but it's alot worse now. What the fuck. I need some help. I'm not joking, please do not discriminate me in any way. I'm very worried right now.
I've felt paraoid eversince i got home from my camping trip from Pennsylvania cherry springs on monday. I also been having really bad nightmare's that i could not explain. Then, when I was tired of it all, I deiced to have a camera looking behind me at all times. That's when I finally caught the damn thing on camera. But, In the video, I through up blood, and that is the final symposium of slender sickness, and I have all of them. Here is the link to the video on my channel. Go nuts. -Noah N
I mean, all Slenderman-Games have worked pretty much the same way. But why should this formula dictate all future Slenderman-games, should there ever be more of them? We've had Slenderman as typical Indie-Survival Horror, but why not a Silent Hill-styled game based on the mythos, or a story-driven game that tells a complex story within the Slenderman-universe? Heck, maybe someone would like Slenderman: The Telltale Series.
So, just for fun, what game genres would you like to slenderize?
And, while we're at it: I think most of us agree that the current idea for the Slenderman movie is not what we want. But then, the Marble Hornets movie (which was about the Operator, I guess, but I'm not sure that matters in this context), that tried to adapt the Found Footage-/Vlog-Style from the ARG's wasn't really good, either. Do you have an idea how one could make a Slenderma-movie work? Is it straight impossible or have we simply not found the right approach, as of yet?
Discuss!
why did slender chose Toby Timothy and Brian I mean yes toby's story is something but how why Brian just had a normal life well Kanda but Tim just took pills and yes I know he did not have water with it or he ate 3 or 4 at a time
I was researching on the Slender Man movie, and I found a lot of recent news saying that Sony could quit launching Slender Man, I'm really scared of it, this should not happen. The great sony will even abandon Slender Man? If this happens, the movie goes to Netflix or Amazon.
There's two version of Slender Man song.
The Male one (Original) and the Female one.
Hello,
I have an old friend named Caleb, he runs a little to no budget channel called Wub Wub Worm (We Called Him That In Middle School), usually, his videos are fun to watch, but his latest video entitled: "Update!" has some disturbing things in it, including the operator symbol on his hand. And random static. Please give me your opinion
Hello everyone. Getting to the point: I don't want anyone to stress out with making an original and creative answer, but an intelligent and well-worked one. Let's think that you are making a Slender series for TV, international (I mean, serious business). The antagonist is obviously Slender and the protagonist will be, at the end of the series, free from him; How would you make that ending? I mean, How would you make the protagonist's salvation? What would happen to Slender? How did he survive?
That's right, everyone! I am proud to announce to return of Slender: The Awakening, now licensed under the Creative Commons Attributions License; which allows free use of copyrighted work. This time, I'm not holding back for nothing. When I was told by Parsec Productions that there most likely will not be a sequel to The Arrival, I knew that I couldn't let that happen. Currently being developed on the Unity engine, the game promises a longer storyline, bigger environments, and new characters - giving birth to the next generation of horror.
Now, since the game is now protected legalwise, I'd appreciate any ideas you guys have for me. I'll keep you guys updated as development progresses. Cheers!
Hey, guys. So, after the cancellation of my previous game Slender: The Awakening, I reached out to Troy Wagner - the creator of the Marble Hornets ARG, so I can get permission to use a Marble Hornets character in a game I'm developing. While he hasn't replied back yet, I wanted to release some information about this new game (that hopefully won't be cancelled). Without further ado, here's what you should know about The Operator - a Marble Hornets game!
"The Operator is a 2017 psychological survival horror game developed by Darkwood Productions (aka. me), in collaboration with the creators of the spine-chilling internet sensation, Marble Hornets. Developed using Unreal Engine 4, A beta for the game is scheduled to be released on Friday October 13th, 2017 for PC and Mac." - Official game description
Details:
- The game is in development using Unreal Engine 4. This for better graphics, better gameplay, and a wide variety of platforms.
- The game is set in Rosswood Park, The Abandoned Hospital, and several other locations.
- The game's main antagonist, as the title implies, is The Operator.
- The game will have many features, including scene selection, night vision, a journal for collectibles, and much more!
I'd really appreciate all your support on this project, I'm determined to finish it as I did The Chaser. Additionally, I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys could give me some ideas and suggestions to put in the game. Please and thanks in advance!
Hey, guys. So, a while back, I said I was developing a game about Kate. Well, after talking to Mark J. Hadley and Eric "Victor Surge" Knudsen, I've come up with an idea to develop a "sequel" to Slender: The Arrival. Before you ask, I do have permission to use Slender Man from Victor Surge. Unfortunately, Mark J. Hadley (creator of the first Slender game) has decided to walk away from the Mythos to continue making non-Slender related games. But on the bright side, I've decided to take his place in making future Slender games. This game will serve as a sequel to The Arrival, entitled Slender: Generations. Unlike past games, this game will be developed on the Unreal Engine rather than Unity. Here's some more information about my game:
- Will be the third and final canon installment in the Slender video game series
- Will pick up where The Arrival left off, featuring both new protagonist but same storyline (No spoilers)
- More areas to explore, collectibles to find, and enemies to be scared of.
- Will tie the entire Slender Man Mythos together into one huge storyline.
I've also contacted Blue Isle Studios (creators of The Arrival) to see if they're interested in making another game, still waiting for them to reply.
If you have any questions or comments concerning my game, please comment below or leave a message on my Message Wall.
Feel free to follow me on DeviantArt, where I'll be giving sneak peeks at the game: DarkwoodProductions
Thank you for your time

So I need some help with my YouTube Slenderman series, me and My friend have been trying really hard on this series. I've been writing out scripts and getting the right setting and I could really use some help, it isn't getting many views at all. I'm never going to expect views after maybe a year after we've started the Slender series, even 2 years, but I was wondering if you Slender fans could check it out for me on YouTube. It's called 'Vlogsofenigma' It's about two children and one goes missing, the other grows up in a life of fear until eventually when he turns 14 he begins to search, he uploads videos to YouTube to document everything he does.
The two characters are Robert who is searching for his friend (Played by myself)
And Joseph, Robert's friend who has been missing since 2013 (Played by my friend Lucas)
So anybody who checks it out thank you I really appreciate it.
